Marck Carey’s Carbon Creation

Posted on 28 November 2008

Marck Carey is no stranger to extreme modification, his previous Dover Racecar was a fire breathing Mitsubishi Evolution. Although the marketing experts at Mitsubishi chose the name, Marck took Evolution literally and took the car from street car to an almost full tube frame car.

After several seasons at Dover Raceway in St. Ann Jamaica, Marck decided it was time to retire his beloved beast, and began constructing the first Jamaican built tube frame car for use at Dover Raceway. Every aspect of the car has been engineered to dominate its class. The car uses a tube framed chassis coupled with a carbon fibre body for weight savings. No word on which engine he will be using, but the car will be all wheel drive. Below are some pictures of his original Evo and his build so far with the new car. We will keep you updated as the build continues.
