Goals: To be Jamaica’s first professional race/rally driver, to represent my country in the sport I’ve loved since I was a baby.
Experience:
1995 – began driving fun karts around neighborhood
1998 – bought first racing kart and began racing at Palisados Intl Raceway, youngest karter in JKA
2002 – first pole position, first win, 4th in Yamaha Light Championship, won Most Improved Driver
2003 – set and reset most lap records, 3rd in Yamaha Light
2004 - most lap records, most pole positions, Yamaha Light champion, 2nd in Abe Zaidie Championship. Competed in first international kart race. Won pole position, and finished 4th in first ever Rotax International race in Florida
2005 – won every round of inaugural Rotax Max Challenge, competed in Grand Nationals in South Bend, Indiana. Also did license course for Formula BMW USA, first Caribbean driver to do so.
2006 – Competed in Formula BMW USA championship with Gelles Racing. Also competed at Dover Raceway in IP45 class.
2007 – Competed in two rounds of Skip Barber Northeast series. 2nd in JMMC Dexterity championship, 1st in FWD w/o lsd. JKA Shifter kart champion.
2008 – Semi active in JKA and Dexterity due to schoolwork/exams.
